Come Ride with Us! 2024 Ride for BERT
Friends of Bonita Estero Rail Trail and Trek Bike Shop of Estero are excited to announce the 2024 Ride for BERT. Proceeds from the ride will benefit the Bonita Estero Rail Trail. The ride will be held on Sunday, November 17th. As was the case in 2023, there are two ride routes for which you can register; a 15-mile route and a 30-mile route. Both routes will start and end at the parking lot just north of the Trek Bike Shop of Estero in Coconut Point Mall. Details regarding the ride, including a map of the two routes, can be found below. The 2023 ride filled up weeks ahead of the event, so if you are planning on riding in the event be sure to register as soon as possible. Early registration cost of the ride is only $55 per person until November 15th, increasing to $65 per person up to the day before the event so don’t wait to register!

Sign up before before November 1st and receive a Ride For BERT tee shirt as part of your ride fee. Just give us your shirt size when prompted as part of the registration process.

Food, Snacks & Drinks Included
We will have several food, snacks & drink items available both before and after the ride that are included as part of your registration fee. That includes plenty of water, Gatorade, coffee, bagels, bananas, oranges, stroopwafels, powerbars, nutragrain bars, and more!
After Ride Party and Rooftop at Riverside
Rooftop at Riverside in downtown Bonita Springs will be hosting an after ride party the afternoon of the event on the 17th. All registered riders are invited. Please plan to join us then. More details to come!

About the Ride
Where are the 15 mile riders going?
The 15 mile route will head east on Coconut Road then turn south through Bonita Springs for a short loop on Terry to Old 41 to Shangri-La and to the Bonita Springs High School for a rest. We’ll then return to Trek Estero.

Where are the 30 mile riders going?
The 30 mile route will head east on Coconut Road then turn north through Estero to loop through the University. We’ll then head south for a short loop on Terry to Old 41 to Shangri-La and to the Bonita Springs High School for a rest. We’ll then return to Trek Estero.
