FRIENDS OF BERT GIVES PRESENTATION TO THE SOUTH FORT MYERS ROTARY CLUB

The Rotary Club of South Fort Myers asked the Friends of BERT to speak at their weekly meeting and of course we said yes.  BERT VP, Emily Porter gave the presentation to a group of 50+ people who were very receptive to the addition of a safe place to walk/run/ride in Lee County.  Emily talked about the need for a Lee County Greenway that would run all the way through Lee County from north to south.  The Bonita Estero Rail Trail would be the south end of that greenway.  Friends of BERT would like to give a shout out to the South Ft. Myers Rotary Club.  These people take action to help those in need and there is nothing more important than that.  They have our complete admiration.
